Androo  > Electronics > 114 calculators
It's hard to believe, but calculators were nearly as cool in the late seventies and early eighties as cellphones are now. So for a few years, I saved my pocket money and bought as many as I could. Turned out to be good timing, because calculators became almost uniformly dull and functional after the mid-eighties. Most of these have their original packaging and could turn up on ebay one day...

Artcarte card calculator. 1987. Note moon phases instead of numerals on keys.
Artcarte AC-100 in pink. 1987. Just like the blue Artcarte. Never really caught on.
Hanimex SC-863. 1984. Hanimex, like many brands, dipped their toes into the calculator market. Unfortunately this is yet another grotty card calculator with a horrid membrane keyboard and poor low-light performance. Something made me part with £9.95 for this in 1984. Today, it'd be a pound.
Texas Instruments TI CARD (TI-1784). 1985. Almost certainly identical to the Hanimex I also have, except for the garish graphics.
Canon LS704G. 1983. Gold version of same model I have in white. Despite big brand name, they're pretty hopeless in low light and barely usable thanks to a terrible keyboard.
Canon LS704. 1984. Slim card calculator. Only half works now, unlike the gold version I also have. Good job Canon's cameras are better than their calculators!
SLIM CARD 111. 1986. Cheap OEM card calculator with Casio-style graphics. The market was flooded with these budget card models in the mid 1980s, usually selling for well under a fiver. Works perfectly well.
Synapse 821. 1986. Yet another me-too card calculator. Super cheap and unremarkable yet still working happily after 22 years.
Unbranded calculator with keyboard from about 2001 that rolls up around the LCD. I've put it under a sheet of glass to stop it rolling up for the photo.
