2017 Ripley Castle Classic Vehicle Show
May 2017 car show at Ripley Castle in North Yorkshire. Billed as a classic vehicle and Land Rover display, this gallery is rather heavy on Land Rovers and because of the weather forecast, rather light on vehicles generally. Actually it didn't really rain, though damp grass on a hilly site probably suited the Land Rovers better than it would have the regular classics that didn't turn up.

Picturesque setting for the show in the castle grounds. It's a shame so many were needlessly put off by the weather forecast since it barely rained at all on the day.
You'll notice a lot of the photos seems to be on a lean – it's not me, it's the hilly site!
1098cc. Modern wheels on classic cars is not my thing but I suppose they can always be put back to original one day when the Minilite fad is over.
Getting rid of those awful wheel trims would make it a bit more special...
I like to think they were arguing about the price of onions
