Kit car launched in 1978. Launched by the company that took over Mini Marcos production, as a more modern version of that car. Has a composite body with no chassis, using Mini engine/gearbox and front subframe but replacing the rear subframe with a beam on which the trailing arms were hinged. From 1985 buyers could use Metro running gear instead. A note on the licence plate says this is the first ever hand-built Midas. Back in the days (decades ago!) when I read 'Kit Car' magazine, this was one of the few kit cars that looked like a proper car. The company is still going as of 2019.
